Imayotsukasa Sake Brewery

Long-established brewery with over 250 years of history. Using fresh local water and high quality rice, it is a sake that has been recognized in downtown Niigata where the first-rate restaurants are located.

Salmon sake-bitashi (salmon in sake)

It has been famous as the "salmon town" for the past 1000 year. In Murakami which flourished as a castle town, you can eat salmon dishes such as "Kawa-ni boiled salmon" and "salmon sake-bitashi".

The flow of Sasagawa

It is a beautiful scenic area with its coastline eroded by the sea. There are cliffs, strange rocks and caves stretching for 11 km. Also known as the "sunset line", the sea stained orange is very romantic.
