Aomori Nebuta Festival
It is one of the summer festivals representing Japan. It is held from August 2 to 7 every year and over 3 million people attend. There are 20-30 large Nebuta floats on parade and a large crowd of a couple of thousand people called "Haneto" who call out "Lassera!" while jumping and dancing together. The venue is filled with excitement.
As a leading scenic spot in Japan, it has been designated as a national scenic spot and naturalx monument of the country. You can walk for around 14 km and feel so close to nature among the rocks and splashed by the flowing stream.
It is a beautiful scenic spot of fresh green and autumn colors, beautiful scenery throughout the four seasons. The 327 m depth lake, the third deepest in Japan, has a deep indigo color and a sparkling lake surface is very beautiful.
