As it has an appearance almost like Mt. Fuji, the name of the area is combined with Mount Fuji and is called "Dewa Fuji". As the snow at the summit does not melt even in summer, you can see the "Shinjisekkei" (heart character in the snowy ravine) where the residual snow creates the shape of the kanji character for "heart".
You can enjoy climbing anytime from July to around October. The snow-filled valley and rare flora and fauna can be seen, and from late July to early August, indigenous and other alpine plants flower to welcome in a beautiful season.
It is raised in Yuza Town in a climate with large differences in temperature where persimmons are grown and it is characterized by its high sugar content.
